109學年度起擴大獎勵優秀碩博士班新生選擇就讀本校研究所

• 理工學院學生留校升學獎學金

獎助對象：
申請本獎學金者，須為本校在學學生且不具有其他專職之碩、博 士研究生。
申請資格：
碩士班：本校各系大學部應屆畢業生，在學前三年成績為該系成績優異者且經甄試或入學考試錄取者或外籍生個人申請入學管道就讀本院碩士班者。
博士班：本校各系所學士班學生獲准逕行修讀博士學位者及應屆碩士班學生經甄試、入學考試錄取或外籍生個人申請入學管道就讀本院博士班者或獲准逕行修讀博士學位者。
獎學金金額及名額：
金額：院提供每系所至多陸萬元整，每系所需另提供相同金額配合款陸萬元整，共計拾貳萬元整，惟每名金額不可低於貳萬元整。
名額：每系不限定推薦名額。

• 物理學系優秀學生留校升學獎學金

獎助對象：
申請本獎學金者，須為本系在學學生且不具有其他專職之碩、博士研究生。
申請資格：
◆碩士班：本系大學部應屆畢業學生，其畢業成績為前百分之50(含)且經甄試或入學考試正取本系碩士班者。
◆博士班：本系在學學生獲准逕行修讀博士學位者，或碩士班應屆畢業生經甄試、入學考試正取修讀博士班者。
獎學金金額及名額：
(一)金額：
1.本系依據「理工學院優秀學生留校升學獎勵辦法」提供該獎勵辦法之同額配合款。
2.申請者中在學業上有優異表現者，可獲本系推薦申請【理工學院優秀學生留校升學獎學金】，推薦名額至多三名，總金額為壹拾貳萬元整（院陸萬加系陸萬）。
    1)被推薦者若僅一人，則該生獲得壹拾貳萬元整。
    2)被推薦者若達二人，其中一人學業表現明顯優異者，則該生獲得捌萬元整，另一位獲得肆萬元整；若二人條件相當，則各獲得陸萬元整。
    3)被推薦者若達三人，則每人獲得肆萬元整。
3.未獲推薦之申請者每名叁萬元整。
(二)名額：若干名，由本系主任會同研究生委員會視當年狀況，於公告之前決定之。

• 物理學系研究生獎學金及協助教學助學金

獎學金：研究生獎學金、教學助理助學金以及工讀金核發金額依學生員額及校方核發金額調整，其中碩士班獎學金以發給二學年為限，博士班以發給三學年為限，教學助理助學金與工讀金核發無年限之規定。本獎學金為鼓勵優秀物理人才於本所就讀，並為提昇本所研究生研究能力，特設立獎學金若干名。
◆碩士班：
碩一部份：為當年度本所之研究生入學考試筆試或甄試名次前 50%(依正取名單四捨五入)之同學得申請支領上學期之獎學金，每名每月三千元至五千元，經由本系研究生委員會評審後擇優至多三名發放之。
碩二部份：係獎勵與提昇本系研究生之研究能力，特設立獎學金二名，每名每月三千元至五千元，經由本系研究生委員會評審後擇優發放之。
◆博士班： 為提昇本系博士生研究能力，特設立獎學金以玆鼓勵，每一年級一名、每名每月四千元至七千元。
◆為提昇本系研究生之研究及論文能力，特設立論文優秀獎學金數名以玆鼓勵，提供每人每年至多一萬元(由研究生委員會依當年度本系財務及申請狀況決定之)。碩、博研究生得備妥發表之論文及其他有助審查之資訊，經指導教授推薦得提出申請。

教學助理助學金發放規定：
    1) 研究生獲授課教師任用為教學助理（以下簡稱 TA ）且協助本系教學者得領取本助學金。所有受聘 TA 皆須協助教學工作，實驗相關課程 TA 則另須協助教學實驗室之儀器維修與更新。
    2) 各課程 TA 助學金額度比例由研究生委員會依本校核發額度與各課程所需之助教工作內容及時間等相關規定分配。
    3) TA 助學金應覈實發給，每學期至多撥付 5 個月，單月薪資下限為肆仟元，惟同一學生在本校擔任 TA 每月薪資總額不得超過一萬貳仟元。實際聘期未足月者按實際工作日數比例支給。

◆碩士班：每名每月最多一萬五千元。
◆博士班：每名每月最多三萬元；若為博士候選人每月最多三萬四千元。

• NDHU Outstanding Student Graduate Enrollment Scholarship

Eligibility and Amount:
Starting from the 2020 academic year, the university has expanded the scholarship to encourage outstanding new master's and doctoral students to pursue graduate studies at NDHU. The original "Outstanding Student Enrollment Incentive" has been revised and renamed to the "Incentive for Outstanding New Graduate Students." In addition to the incentive for NDHU's own outstanding graduates, graduates from other universities who meet the criteria in Article 3, Item 2, may also apply for a scholarship of NT$50,000 or NT$25,000.

• College of Science and Engineering Graduate Enrollment Scholarship

Eligible Applicants:
Current NDHU students applying for master's or doctoral programs who are not employed in any other full-time positions.
Eligibility:
Master's Program: NDHU undergraduate students with excellent academic performance in the past three years and admitted through screening or entrance exam; foreign students admitted through individual application.
Doctoral Program: NDHU students approved for direct admission to the doctoral program or current master's students admitted through screening or entrance exam; foreign students admitted through individual application.
Amount and Quota:
Each department may receive up to NT$60,000 from the college, with an additional NT$60,000 matching fund from the department, totaling NT$120,000. Each recipient shall receive no less than NT$20,000. No limit on the number of recommendations per department.

• Department of Physics Outstanding Student Graduate Enrollment Scholarship

Eligible Applicants:
Physics students applying for graduate programs who are not employed in any other full-time positions.
Eligibility:
◆ Master's: Graduating physics undergraduates ranking in the top 50% and admitted to the master's program through screening or entrance exam.
◆ Doctoral: Physics students approved for direct doctoral admission or master's graduates admitted to the doctoral program through screening or entrance exam.
Amount and Quota:
(1) Amount:

1. Matching funds provided according to the College of Science and Engineering incentive scheme.
2. Up to 3 students may be recommended for the College scholarship (total NT$120,000). Distribution: 1 student receives NT$120,000; 2 students split NT$80,000/NT$40,000 or NT$60,000 each; 3 students receive NT$40,000 each.
3. Non-recommended applicants may receive NT$30,000 each.

• Physics Department Graduate Scholarships and Teaching Assistantships

Graduate Scholarships:
The scholarship amount is adjusted based on the number of students and university funding. Master's students may receive funding for up to 2 years; doctoral students up to 3 years. No time limit for TA and work-study subsidies.
◆ Master's Year 1: Top 50% of entrance or screening exam takers may receive NT$3,000–5,000/month for the first semester (up to 3 recipients).
◆ Master's Year 2: 2 recipients selected based on research performance: NT$3,000–5,000/month.
◆ Doctoral: 1 student per year level receives NT$4,000–7,000/month.
◆ Thesis Excellence Award: Up to NT$10,000 per person annually for outstanding theses (based on funding and applications, with advisor recommendation).

Teaching Assistantship Regulations:

1. Graduate students assigned as TAs must assist in teaching and, for lab courses, help maintain lab equipment.
2. TA funds are distributed based on work content and time needed per course as reviewed by the graduate committee.
3. TA monthly salary is at least NT$4,000, with a maximum of NT$12,000/month. Payments are made according to actual working days (up to 5 months/semester).

NSTC Research Assistant Subsidy:
◆ Master's: Up to NT$15,000/month
◆ Doctoral: Up to NT$30,000/month; up to NT$34,000/month for Ph.D. candidates.
